Teresa Rego's work sits at the intersection of structure and nature with geometric and organic elements in constant dialogue. The Freya Throw draws from that same tension: a still life of cherries tumbling from a patterned pedestal bowl, lush leaves spilling in from above and blue ceramic vessels grounding the background. The result is something structured but relaxed at the same time.

Every Slowdown Studio throw begins as an original artwork. We collaborate with artists around the world to translate their creativity into woven form. The Freya Throw is jacquard woven in the USA from cotton with at least 25% recycled content - lightweight, textured, and made to last. Use it as a couch blanket, a bed blanket, a wall art tapestry, or wherever you need a little colour or personality.
About the Artist

Teresa Rego graduated from architecture in Portugal, before moving to London to pursue her passion for illustration. After graduating from MA Illustration at University of Arts London, Teresa created Teresa Rego Studio. Her brand is inspired by nature and urban landscapes, the contrast between organic shapes
and geometric ones.

Teresa has worked with a variety of brands for illustration work, surface pattern design, shop windows, editorial work , and more. Some clients include Prada, LG, Clinique, Esthederm, Scotch & Soda, Sonae, Gulbenkian, Barros, and more.

The boldness of colours and motifs is part of Teresa ́s language. Teresa aims that her pieces stand out by bringing a slice of nature, colour and joy to everyone’s home.

Returns

Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase. This will be at your own shipping expense, unless the product is faulty. Returns must be in their original, packaged condition and arrive back to us undamaged. Email us at orders@slowdownstudio.pro to initiate a return.

Orders being shipped outside of the US, UK, Australia & the EU may be subject to customs, taxes or any additional charges by your local government, which will be payable by yourself.
