The Shelley Throw was designed by Matías Larraín, an Argentine-born illustrator now based in France. Matías came to illustration in 2018 and quickly made it his full-time practice. His work has a collaged, cut-paper quality to it, like shapes pulled from different places and arranged until they feel exactly right.
Every Slowdown Studio throw starts as an original artwork. We collaborate with independent artists around the world to translate their creativity into woven form. The Shelley Throw is jacquard woven in the USA from cotton with at least 25% recycled cotton: lightweight, textured, and built to last. Use it as a couch blanket, a bed blanket, a wall art tapestry, or wherever you need a little colour or personality.

About the Artist
Matías Larraín was born in Argentina and currently lives in France. He trained as a visual communicator and publicist, and in 2018, he started working as an illustrator until it became his full-time profession.
He uses traditional and digital methods, usually working with paper, scissors,
coloured pencils and acrylic paints. He is inspired by bicycle trips, meeting new people, landscapes, photography and architecture. His works project the world around him through naive shapes, organic motifs
and vibrant colours.

Returns
Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase. This will be at your own shipping expense, unless the product is faulty. Returns must be in their original, packaged condition and arrive back to us undamaged. Email us at orders@slowdownstudio.pro to initiate a return.
Customs & Duties
Orders being shipped outside of the U.S., Australia & the EU may be subject to customs, taxes or any additional charges by your local government, which will be payable by yourself.
