The Yukimi Throw was designed by Eric Reh, a Berlin and Esslingen-based artist who works across wood, metal, paper, fabric, and clay, drawing inspiration from nature and the drawings of his young daughter.

This design came from a year Eric spent living in the countryside outside Berlin with his family. Taking long walks, tending to his first garden since childhood, and watching his daughter discover her surroundings for the first time. All of that found its way onto the page. The result is a loose, open composition of round-leafed plants rendered in fine outline across a warm cream background, with delicate lines in teal, orange, blue, and green - and a tiny hand-drawn face tucked into the centre. Every Slowdown Studio throw starts as an original artwork. We collaborate with independent artists around the world to translate their creativity into woven form. The Yukimi Throw is jacquard woven in the USA from cotton with at least 25% recycled cotton: lightweight, textured, and built to last. Use it as a couch blanket, a bed blanket, a wall art tapestry, or wherever you need a little colour or personality.
About the Artist

Eric Reh is a German interdisciplinary artist and illustrator living and working in Berlin and Esslingen (Germany). Eric works with several tools and materials like wood, metal, paper, fabric or clay. He is mostly inspired by nature in all its facets and manifestations, craftsmanship and children’s drawings (especially the ones by his little daughter).

Returns

Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase. This will be at your own shipping expense, unless the product is faulty. Returns must be in their original, packaged condition and arrive back to us undamaged. Email us at orders@slowdownstudio.pro to initiate a return.
