The Toto Throw was designed by Oyow, an illustrator based in Seoul who works in Photoshop and stencil printing. Oyow is drawn to the theme of relationships - the emotional complexity of being close to someone.
In the Toto Throw, everything is rendered in shades of blue with a deep cobalt background, softer mid-tone grass and a lighter sky at the horizon - which gives the whole scene a quiet, dreamlike quality. It could be evening. It could be the middle of the night. Either way, it feels like a moment worth holding onto.
Every Slowdown Studio throw starts as an original artwork. We collaborate with independent artists around the world to translate their creativity into woven form. The Toto Throw is jacquard woven in the USA from cotton with at least 25% recycled cotton: lightweight, textured, and built to last. Use it as a couch blanket, a bed blanket, a wall art tapestry, or wherever you need a little colour or personality.

About the Artist
Oyow is an illustrator based in Seoul, Korea. He mainly uses Photoshop or stencil printing techniques to create his artwork. He is interested in many motifs, especially the theme of relationships. Using scenes of nature and an array of muted colours, Oyow creates complex, multi-faceted emotions. He makes a small book every year, focusing on subjects like youth and love.

Returns
Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase. This will be at your own shipping expense, unless the product is faulty. Returns must be in their original, packaged condition and arrive back to us undamaged. Email us at orders@slowdownstudio.pro to initiate a return.

Orders being shipped outside of the U.S., Australia & the EU may be subject to customs, taxes or any additional charges by your local government, which will be payable by yourself.
