"Gansos" was designed by Buenos Aires-based artist and tarot reader Magdalena Etchebarne (Magucha) for Slowdown Studio. Magucha's work is rooted in symbolism and intuition, the hidden meanings carried by everyday things. Inspired by the geese at El Rosedal Park, which she finds beautiful, funny, and rich with symbolism (teamwork, home, love), three fill the frame here in red, pink, and blue against a pale cream ground: bold, a little ridiculous, and full of personality. Magdalena Etchebarne (Magucha) is an artist and tarot reader based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Inspired by human emotions, symbols, magic, energy, nature, tarot, dreams, and music, her work is joyful, sensitive, and intuitive. She’s especially drawn to the meaning behind things, how symbols, images, and everyday elements can hold personal messages and offer insight into who we are. She creates imaginary worlds through symbolic imagery, vibrant colors, and expressive characters. Her style blends intensity with intuition and humor, combining both analog and digital techniques.

Frames are made to order by our print studio in the USA, using FSC certified timber sourced from responsibly managed forests. Available in oak, walnut, black oak, or white metal, and finished with real glass for true clarity and a luxurious feel. We recommend our professional framing service so your print arrives as framed art, ready to hang, with every edge sitting perfectly flush.

What inspired your artwork for this print?

The geese were my main inspiration. I find them beautiful and funny animals, and they also carry a lovely symbolism of teamwork, togetherness, home, character, and love. My husband and I are very fond of geese. In fact, before we got married, we took part in a ritual in a park where there were geese around us.

How does where you live influence your work?

Absolutely. I was born in Buenos Aires, and it’s my home. It’s a deeply inspiring city, from its people to its streets, parks, traditions, and stories.

What's your favorite way to slow down?

My favorite way to slow down is to drink on my couch while watching a series or a movie, doing Reiki, or spending time in the park.
