The Melba Throw was designed by Suvi Suitiala, a Finnish illustrator whose work is known for its vibrant flat-colour shapes, layered textures and dreamlike quality.

Every Slowdown Studio throw starts as an original artwork. We collaborate with independent artists around the world to translate their creativity into woven form. The Melba Throw is jacquard woven in the USA from cotton with at least 25% recycled cotton: lightweight, textured, and built to last. Use it as a couch blanket, a bed blanket, a wall art tapestry, or wherever you need a little colour or personality.

About the Artist

Suvi Suitiala is an illustrator based in Finland. Suvi’s style is characterized by vibrant color palettes, flat-color shapes combined with different textures and dream-like aesthetics.

Returns

Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase. This will be at your own shipping expense, unless the product is faulty. Returns must be in their original, packaged condition and arrive back to us undamaged. Email us at orders@slowdownstudio.pro to initiate a return.

Orders being shipped outside of the U.S., Australia & the EU may be subject to customs, taxes or any additional charges by your local government, which will be payable by yourself.
